Booking with Quay Travel is my favourite way to travel! Fantastic suggestions, great communication and total peace of mind on your trip. Quay Travel really knows their stuff. My brief was simple - two city breaks followed by a few relaxing days by the sea to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary; the honeymoon we never had. Cindy delivered on all fronts.

This was to be our first trip staying at Four Seasons and from the moment we arrived at Four Seasons Langkawi, we knew we were somewhere special. We were greeted like old friends, ushered through to a calm, serene seating area. With a cool refreshing fruit drink in hand, we were gently guided through the check in process, ensuring that everything was in place for our stay.

The resort was spacious and uncrowded. You could choose to walk around, use one of the free bikes on offer, or call on one of the buggies to take you where you wanted to go within the resort. We opted to walk everywhere. It gave us time to enjoy the abundance of wildlife; Clouded monitor lizards, Dusky Leaf langurs, Long tailed macaques, Oriental pied hornbills, even bats at dusk. You could be forgiven for thinking you were on a wildlife tour!

The resort staff were incredibly friendly. Everyone greeted us by name and remembered food and interests we had talked about, enough to pick up the same conversation the next time they saw us. And have I mentioned the food? Amazing buffet breakfasts with a range of options from fruit and cereal to full cooked Western and Asian choices. It was stunning.

Four Seasons Langkawi is well situated in the north east quadrant of Langkawi. There are no big towns nearby so it is lovely and quiet, while being walking distance by beach or road from a small run of relaxed and casual bar/restaurant options, if you want to eat or have a beer outside the resort. We found it easy to use the local Grab app to order taxis to take us to the Langkawi Skybridge, or to the jetty for any of the boat tours.

A big shout out to Quay Travel for facilitating a wonderful trip to Europe this July.  Our trips are often complex to co-ordinate and you managed our special requests with patience and grace. Our agent Lisa did a fantastic job organising our flights, suggesting great hotels and being on hand to efficiently sort out a flight cancellation in the midst of a traffic controllers strike in France. One of the highlights of the trip was time spent in Capri at the lovely Luna Hotel.  Well located away from the maddening day-trippers and one of the most beautiful locations on the Island.  We will look forward to our next adventure with Quay Travel.

We had the most amazing time in Vietnam. We loved every minute of it. We loved every place we went to for different reasons. The accommodation, transfers and all the activities you organised were fantastic. It was all so easy. It was lovely to have 6 nights in Hoi An. The hotel there was so so beautiful! What a beautiful place Hoi An is. The vespa tour in Saigon was a highlight. I loved that night. It was so fun! Exhilarating being on those vespas.  We loved it so much we are thinking of going again next year.

Stuart and I had the most wonderful 4 week trip over Christmas and New Year 2024/2025. From start to finish we had superb organisation by our travel agent, Cindy Palmer of Quay Travel. She listened to our interests, took into consideration our age, mobility and price range and organised for us the most outstanding trip we could have asked for. She gave advice, updated us regularly during the planning process and turned what could have been a really hit and miss home planned job into the most incredible journey. The Viking River Cruise on the Danube provided stop offs that we couldn't have sorted ourselves. Her choices in hotels were perfect and located at good distances from public transport. We covered a number of countries and locations at a pace that suited our style.

I am delighted to give this feedback of our fabulous holiday in Croatia in August/September 2024. We had a brilliant time and remain very grateful to both Michelle at Quay Travel and the team at Croatia Time Travels. Our holiday was a hand crafted journey full of the highlights of Croatia with beautiful hotels, fantastic travel via luxury cars and outstanding guides. Marvellous, absolutely top class the whole way.

Our daily guides were either the local person or our own driver. At all times they were knowledgeable, really interesting and easy to understand. On more than one occasion we had enough time to get to extra places or sights we hadn’t expected to. Having thoroughly enjoyed our time in Croatia, we wouldn’t hesitate to contact Michelle again to help with our travel needs. Again, we are very grateful for their help, we had a magical trip!

I recently booked my trip to Rarotonga with Quay Travel and I am glad I did. Michelle and Lisa were amazing, they went well over and above to ensure I got everything I needed.
