When to go / useful information

When to go

The best time to visit the UAE is between October and May, when daytime temperatures are milder, skies are clear, and evenings are comfortably cool. October can still be hot, but it's a noticeable shift from the intense summer. Avoid the peak summer months (June to September), when temperatures regularly exceed 40°C and humidity levels are high. July and August are especially extreme, with temperatures often surpassing 50°C on the coast. In contrast, January and February bring cooler evenings, with lows averaging between 10–14°C. Coastal areas can be particularly humid during the late summer due to the sharqi, a warm, humid southeastern wind.
